Time travel movies generally don\’t have much to add to the trope, either events can be effected by time travel or they can\’t, but Syncheonic leands a couple new wrinkles to the standard \”man goes through time\” story. Much to it\’s credit, something that could in theory feel like well trod on story elements are given a patina that is ultimately quite pleasing.
Oddly I think this was this second movie I watched this past weekend with Anthony Mackie in the lead, I\’m definitely becoming a fan of his work. To think, I was introduced to him in the role of a bird man that goes by the name of \”Falcon\” in a comic book film!
