“As Good as It Gets” Review

Directed by James L. Brooks. With Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt, Greg Kinnear, Cuba Gooding Jr.. A single mother and waitress, a misanthropic author, and a gay artist form an unlikely friendship after the artist is assaulted in a robbery.

It’s been a long while since I’ve watched this, and while I have fond memories of the film, it has not aged very well with some unfortunate language that’s completely unacceptable today. It’s still a well made film with a good story, but just know going in that it’s a product of it’s time and place.
