In 1989, the US invaded Panama under Operation Just Cause. Panama had McDonald’s restaurants since 1971. How did McDonald’s respond to the invasion?

My question is inspired by the so-called “Golden Arches Theory of Conflict Prevention” discussed in this quora question. I’m particularly interested in whether McDonald’s tried to lobby for/against the invasion, how their supply chain was able to deal with the disruption, and how involved corporate management was in the conflict.
