In 1989, the US invaded Panama under Operation Just Cause. Panama had McDonald\’s restaurants since 1971. How did McDonald\’s respond to the invasion?

My question is inspired by the so-called \”Golden Arches Theory of Conflict Prevention\” discussed in this quora question. I\’m particularly interested in whether McDonald\’s tried to lobby for/against the invasion, how their supply chain was able to deal with the disruption, and how involved corporate management was in the conflict.
