I think this was right around when Cage was moving away from the Disney roles and into the really weird roles that he\’s been doing, like Mandy or Colors out of Space, but I still see the manic looks he gives in this film and can see the genesis of those future roles. \”The Sorcerer\’s Apprentice\” is a fun ride and if you\’re a fan of the original cartoon short, there\’s plenty to love here.
